Uncertainty has become a familiar part of everyday life. For many people, it can bring feelings of worry, pressure, and emotional fatigue — often without clear space to talk about how it is affecting them.
This Saturday, Asuo Collective CIC is hosting a community forum focused on building emotional resilience in uncertain times. The aim is not to provide answers or solutions, but to create a safe, inclusive space for reflection, shared learning, and open conversation.
Why Emotional Resilience Is an Important Topic
Emotional resilience is often misunderstood as simply “staying strong” or “coping better”. In reality, it can involve recognising when things feel difficult, understanding our responses, and finding ways to stay grounded even when life feels unsettled.
For many, resilience is shaped through everyday experiences — relationships, community, and moments of honest reflection. Creating space to talk about these experiences can help reduce isolation and normalise emotions that are often carried quietly.
What the Forum Will Offer
The upcoming forum is designed to be:
Community-led and inclusive
Non-clinical and non-judgemental
Focused on reflection, not advice
Participants will have the opportunity to:
Reflect on what uncertainty means to them
Share perspectives in a respectful group setting
Listen and learn from others’ experiences
Explore practical ways to support emotional wellbeing in everyday life
There is no expectation to speak — listening is just as valuable.
A Safe Space for Conversation
As with all Asuo Collective CIC activities, the forum will operate within clear boundaries. It is not a therapy session or support service, but a space for connection and conversation.
Where individuals feel they may need additional or specialist support, we encourage engagement with appropriate professional services.
